Hall, Jr. American\nAlpine Club Library in Golden, Colorado. This collection consists of 20 file\nboxes (30 linear feet), 5 flat oversized boxes, and 20+ rolled maps that need\nto be processed into the collection. The materials are currently not accessible\nto the general public and need to be processed to allow researchers,\nmountaineers, and other Bradford Washburn enthusiasts access to these valuable\nrecords and photographs. This project would not only create access for local\npatrons of the AAC, but through digital resources and the online catalog, a\nportion of the materials would be accessible online. To make all of this\npossible, the American Alpine Club Library is in need of outside resources for\none Library and Information Science graduate student from the University of\nDenver and supplies to rehouse the materials in the collection and digitize a\nportion of the records.\u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eUpdate\u003c\/b\u003e: The project has gotten started thanks to a donation from the \u003cb\u003eInge Foundation\u003c\/b\u003e.  Numerous photos with tissue-paper overlays with hand-written notes, correspondence about expeditions and personal notes, maps with hand-drawn routes - all kinds of interesting items are being uncovered and sorted.\u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n  \u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eStart Date: October 1, 2010\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eEnd Date: March 30, 2011\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eTotal Expenses related to this project are $7,000\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003ch2\u003e\u003cb\u003eAdopt this collection in $100 increments.
